Know before you board
- Arrive at the stop before your booking time.
- If you miss your shuttle, the booking will be cancelled and you’d need to book again.
- Stay seated while the shuttle is moving.
- Bring your own booster seat.
- Follow the instructions from the safety operator (if present).
- Do not tamper with the shuttle’s equipment.
- In the event of an emergency, please call 6577 1190.
Know when you share the road with AVs
If you’re a road user:
- Keep a safe distance behind the shuttle as it may brake earlier.
- Avoid cutting in suddenly.
- Give way at pick-up and drop-off bays.

Zig Driverless FAQ
How many passengers are allowed onboard the autonomous shuttle?
Our Zig Driverless vehicles run on the Toyota Sienna, which seats up to 5 passengers in the back. For safety, the front passenger seat stays empty.
What happens if my phone goes flat before the shuttle arrives? How do I open the door?
Your phone is your key, so do check your battery before booking. If it runs flat, you won’t be able to unlock the vehicle — so it’s best to top up your charge beforehand.
In times of accident, will the door open automatically?
The doors won’t open automatically, but you’re never locked in — you can manually unlock and pull the door open at any time.
Can I bring children onboard the vehicle?
Yes. However, for children under 1.35 meters in height, you must provide and install your own child safety seat or booster seat to comply with regulations.
How do I give feedback if the vehicle is not clean?
Just let our Safety Operator on board know, or leave your feedback in the app once your trip ends.
Why are there no Autonomous Vehicles available?
All our seats may be booked up, or our Safety Operators could be on a short break. Thanks for bearing with us — a ride will be along shortly.
What's the speed of the Autonomous Vehicles?
Zig Driverless vehicles travel at 5km/h below the speed limit.
Can I alight at a stop other than the one I had indicated in my booking?
Your destination is locked in once your booking’s confirmed, so the AV will only open its doors when you arrive there. Along the way, it may also stop for other passengers — and will move off automatically from any stop where no one’s getting on or off. Do choose your drop-off carefully at booking, as it can’t be changed mid-ride.
Are all payment methods accepted for Zig Driverless?
